I used to have a little kubotan. Good for gauging soft spots and striking bone. Now I just have a D ring that is perfect size to double as brass knuckles with the keys along for the ride.

Not really for a key chain but you can hide it behind your ear.

    Colt Open Top Revolver

Uses 2 mm pin fire ammo

I'd like to have a Talon or something like it.

The gnat rifles are a little longer hand have a stock. They are a bit harder to conceal.

I prefer more substantial devices and I don't like additional weight hanging off my ignition switch.

My wife has a Monkey Fist on hers that I gave her back when we were dating. Nasty little thing, would easily destroy an eye socket... hopefully not mine.

This is an interesting thread. I had no idea all these self defense keychain gadgets even existed. I gotta say, of the ones I've seen here and the ones that I saw when I Googled some of the responses, that paraflail gets my vote. It just seems simpler to me to turn your keychain into the weapon. A paraflail in one hand, a class ring on the other... ;^)

This is a monkey fist. A little like a black jack.

Still a little small, but closer to my liking.
