So I finally got me a TDI blade... I got the tanto version with serrations (makes tearing through flesh easier so to speak)... Now I must say I love this blade. It's amazing and feels so amazing. I got a training blade too so I can practice in my self defense class with it. I do have some pet peeves about this blade however. A) Since when has KaBar knives not been made in the United States? B) Since when do they not send you a Allen wrench so when you change out those Velcro straps for the clip you can do it without making a big mess out of it?
Something else I'm trying to figure out is how do I want to carry it. I have my firearm on my right back hip right above my back pocket. So at first I was going to wear the TDI blade on my left side right above my other back pocket. But doing that today it just felt awkward and now I got to figure out where I can try next. I can't wear it in the front crotch area because it's a big blade and moving my legs or sitting doesn't work and let's not even think about kicking. So where else can I put this blade so it conceals well?
Any advice would be welcomed and thank you ahead of time.
The only Tanto I own is a Ka-Bar. I use it only when out in the woods and stuff. So far, no issues and it feels great in hand.
