I'm liking it! I've got the M16-14D, but I'm think real hard about that blade.

    Beautiful knife! Enjoy it.

Nice knife. I recently bought the M21 special forces version in desert tan with that same style blade. They certainly are huge! It completely dwarfs my CRKT M16.

That's actually a better blade profile than a "tanto" - just my personal opinion on that.

I just wanted the tanto for the looks. I really don't know squat about defensive knives; I don't know which is better for what application.

I was messing with it, this weekend, and I can deploy my pistol way faster than I can get this bad boy out and ready for action. That's probably a direct result of training with a pistol, and none with a blade.

I have a couple different flavors of the Carson designed M16. Know I am awaiting delivery of the M21-04.

Here are my most used knives.

M21 on top. Kept in my bug out bag.
M16 in the middle. Kept in junk drawer in kitchen (not saying the knife is junk!).

You know, I've never been a fan of the steel that CRKT uses in their knives.

....Actually I can't remember what steel they use right now, I just remember looking it up and not being a fan of it.

Can't deny that their designs are really nice though.
