    Went knife crazy today.

I added to my small collection a Kershaw Chive, Gerber Applegate Covert and SOG Trident Tanto.

I always carry my SOG Twitch II everyday to work. It's a cheap little beater knife. When I'm not at work, I've been carrying my Benchmade/Hk Nitrous Blitz. But now, I'll probably rotate between the Hk, SOG and Gerber.

Top-bottem: Glock Survival knife, SOG Trident Tanto, Gerber, Benchmade Nitrous Blitz (Hk), Smith&Wesson OTF Bayonet, Benchmade Ally (Hk), SOG Twitch II, Kershaw Chive. They're all spring assist except for the Ally and Glock. Once I owned a spring assist, I just can't buy any manual knifes. Though, I've had a thing for fixed blades lately. Need to buy a Ka-Bar

The Chive opens faster than anything. Probably due to being such a tiny blade. If you didn't know any better, you'd think it was an auto switchblade. The Gerber opens quickly and makes a nice positive lock-up sound. Same can be said for the Benchmade Nitrous Blitz. The SOG is big, bulky, and just awesome. I love the look of tanto blades.

Sorry, it's a terrible picture. Just thought I'd share

    Now thats Funny!!!

RKM how do you like your Glock Knife? I bought one to torture and see how it holds up, I just haven't had time to do alot with it, but so far for the $30 I paid for it I think its a keeper.

OK, so I'm going to encourage you here a little.

Go to a good knife show. You might need to put some miles on your Evo to do so, but I'm betting that you'll enjoy it a lot.

You really can get a lot of good stuff - custom made stuff, no less - at shows, where you'll also see that prices are actually often considerably lower than what you'll see online.

Also, join some knife communities. You'll find that they are nice people, just like "gun people." Oftentimes, you'll find works from aspiring/new knifemakers - your money will then not only buy you something really nice, but you'll be supporting their efforts, too.

You already have some nice stuff, there. Don't be afraid to look at customs: they aren't necessarily all super-expensive.
