2-3" American-made Fixed blade back-up....IDEAS?
I carry either a G19 or Colt OM as my EDC with my new SP101 getting plenty of carry time lately. What I DON'T have is a capable
self-defense knife to back-up my EDC. I have a Benchmade Leopard Cub that I pocket-clip carry for years, but looking for something robust with a 2-3" blade I could fight with if necessary. ANY IDEAS guys?? THANKS!

This:
ESEE Knives
The weekend I got it, went camping and split a **** ton of kindling with it. Threw it at trees. Takes and holds a keen edge and is tough as nails. Plus you can do a para cord wrap on the skeletonized handle.
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

If ur into neck knifes! Check out Home Page It's made out of D2 steel and has a big ball chain that doesn't move around ur neck while carrying!

Glock 36, 30SF, 31, 32, 21 Gen4 - Carry guns
Ruger Mini-14 and Remington 870 by the bed both wearing Surefire lights.
Always carry a knife-they are handy to have
Always carry a reload-You probably won't need it but it is good insurance .
Always carry a light- To see in the dark

I just picked up a Scrapivore from Scrap Yard Knives. It's a solid little blade and won't break the bank.
I wrapped the handle with paracord and made a SOB Kydex sheath for it.The sheath that Scrap Yard is selling for it looks nice but wont work with the cord wrap.

ESEE Knives
KnivesShipFree, The Knife Connection and Smoky Mountain Knife Works sell them as well as other retailers.
Prices depend on what you want. They are offered in different colors, handle materials and with or without accessories. I believe that you can also purchase them bare, without sheaths, online.
I have an Esee 3MIL and an Izula II. I gave around $100 for the 3MIL and I believe $70 for the Izula II.
I carry the Izula II quite a bit for EDC. It has the same blade as the Izula but with a bit of a longer handle.
Best warranty in the business. You break it, they replace it.
Company is located in Alabama and also offers survival training, both foreign and domestic.
Knives are made in Idaho in a family owned, family operated shop.
If you want to go a little above 3", The Eskabar produced by Ka-Bar is a knife that combines the Izula's handle with the blade shape of the Becker BK11(Becker BK11). I believe that you can find them for around $30 online.

Liking them too. Trying hard to make purchases of "Made-in-USA" items...these knives fit the bill.
