I had the opportunity to attend the annual Kershaw Warehous Sale in Tualatin, Oregon today. Among several items I picked up was a Ken Onion Rescue Blur.
The blade has a rounded tip so as not to poke anyone while cutting seat belts, straps etc. The handle has a carbide tip for breaking glass windows.
I didnt care much for the rounded tip but at $20 it was a heck of a buy. I ended up taking my Limited edition Blur (composite ZDP-189 steel) and swapping handles for a somewhat custom application. I now have a super sharp blade with excellent edge retention, with a much nicer looking black handle and glass breaker. This will probably end up being my EDC folder 95% of the time.
