Got in the habit of carrying it weak side years ago in case I was defending an attempted gun grab of my duty weapon with my strong hand.

Strong side on my belt. But now it's going to be strong side clipped to my front pocket.

When I'm at work, I carry front pocket, strong side. When I'm not working, I carry front pocket, weak side, and both rear pockets. Sometimes a neck knife, as well.

Kershaw Rake support side clipped with tip up. This allows me to casually have my hand in pocket, fingers around the scales with one the flipper for lightning fast deployment. I feel the need to always have the strong hand free.

I used to carry strong side only. When taking the SI 0-5Ft Gunfighting class, I was shown the wisdom of having a blade on your off side (I actually carry both sides now) in case of a tangle up.

You should change the poll option to include "Both"

Folder is carried weak side, fixed blade is carried strong side.

Interesting, I would have thought it would be the other way around.

The poll needed an option for one on both sides.

I use my main folder almost exclusively as a utility knife for cutting tasks and such with my dominant hand, therefore it's in my strong side pocket.

However, as a last ditch emergency defensive knife, I almost always have folding knife riding in either my weak side front or weak side back pocket.
