Good enough...the one that works for you is the best one to have.

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.

Thanks, plus I want the retention the HAK allows for. I can use the HAK, Surefire, and Sig all at the same time. And If I get knocked down while the HAKs it deployed I'll have a drawn weapon thats not going anywhere until I put it away.

I have a Utility HAK, and a Ken Brock Straight, I love both. I think the straight is a great backup knife, not only can you use it in a stabbing motion, but also you can use it to slash. I use my HAKs for everyday chores, not just as a backup weapon, so I like the straights for that reason as well. I think the HAK is an awsome knife, and everyone should own 2 or 10 :D.

Thanks, I'm starting to think I should start off with a utility HAK and then move up to a custom. I am into knives but by now means am I overly knowledgeable. And the straight would be easier to sharpen.

I sent them an "order" for info on availability, haven't heard back anything yet, but the site looked like they had my size in stock. Or I think that's what it meant.

Yep I sent an email asking about the availability of Curvy models b/c non are on the "I want one" page. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago and no response yet. From what I hear this is a part time venture so I suspect return emails will be slower.

Did you guys go to the "Available Now" page, and measure for your sizes? If it shows available, she's got them to ship. Like any other order, its not final until you put your CC info in, so you can fill your basket, check shipping, etc., before you finalize, with no problem.

She is super busy with her fultime job, but she is trying to keep up with emails but there is a backlog, so it may take a while for your e-mails to be answered, but it is well worth the wait.

Don't want to hijack thread but i've been looking at this CRKT knife for carry... fixed blade (actually, 2 of them):

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Not a hideaway, so again i apologize for diverting attention, but seems like a decent little knife with a pretty nifty belt holster. Any feedback on these? Feel free to PM if you don't want to deflect from this thread anymore.
