Anyone have one ? Do you like it ? Artz
I no longer have one. Great knife, very good knife for wood carving.
I would like to have another one. Someday I will get another.
raeven...did razor lose its edge easily ?
No, It is actually a litt thicker then most straight razors. Boker steel is really good and holds a good edge. Just sharpen as any straight razor when it finally loses edge.
I have 3 in fact...one as a work knife when I don't carry my benchmade mini-stryker, the others in the safe. They hold an edge well and when they dull..sharpen quickly..I bought the last one for $20 this summer.
what is the best way to sharpen the razor ???
Fine arkansas stone, then leather strap . I use Japanese water stones for all my sharpening, last stone used is 6000 grit. I bought my Japanese stones for wood working tools. I have 800, 1000, 1500, and 6000. For most knives 1000 and 1500 are all you need.
Arkansas stones are easier to find and easier for most people to use.
