I'm usually a Case Trapper kind of guy, but lately my new favorite carry blade is my Kershaw Blue-Black Leek.

I too have one but it just sits on my desk since the blade is too long for me to carry in Michigan. Last night I ordered a Delica. I can't seem to find a reasonable priced, in-stock Emerson CQC 14 and probably never will.

All Cold Steel, Ti-lite, RajahIII, Black Rhino. The black Rhino sold for over 250.00 but was put on sale for 64.00 when it was discontinued. I also have a Cold Steel Spartan that I got for less than 60.00 from a internet sale.

I'm partial to the Spyderco Native, a relatively small and stout blade that fits wonderfully well into my hand. It is made of S30V steel, under 3oz and about $70. And when painstakingly sharpened and honed, it's very effective. It is wonderfully tough and resistant to damage to the blade. While it doesn't offer quite the longevity of sharpness of some other choices, overall I think it's an excellent knife.
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.

I really like my Spyderco Tenacious, but I love my Benchmade Harley-Davidson Osborne Folding Pocket Knife that I got for under $100. With a retail of $235, I would call that a smoking deal. It's been posted before and I agree, kershaw blur. I'm wearing one now an need to pick up another!

$20 Wenger Swiss army knife with a locking blade. This knife has been used more than all of my other knives combined. (and no one looks at you funny when you pull one out at a party....try that with a survival knife)

I rotate my EDC knives when I think to do so, and I realized that I rely on, and prefer to carry, one or the other of my two Kershaw Leeks. Inexpensive, easy to open and use, and keep their edge nicely.
