Always have a SOG Trident in my right pocket whether it's jeans, shorts or a suit. In the woods a SOG Seal Pup and a multi tool in the scabbard pocket. Sometimes a Gerber Bear Grylls 4" folder along with the Pup.

I carry two. A Benchmade 530, and a Spyderco Yojimbo2.
French guy living in Paris, I usually carry tow knives also.
The second knife is carried on my back, so I can deploy it with discretion when I see a potential threat coming in front of me. Example: a group of agressive thugs. When they arrive close to me, my second knife can be already opened and hidden against my leg.
It's the function of the second knife in my personnal system.
If the threat comes from behind, I can open the knife I carry into my waistband, on my front.
Usually, because of the many mass attacks happening in Paris and suburbs, I like to carry a karambit, Emerson or 5.11.
The 5.11 model has a custom wave opening system I made with leather boucle and fastex.
I would suggest carrying a non lethal option like Pepper Spray also,if all your tools are hammers every problem looks like a nail
Different knives have different purposes and are appropriate in different sittuations. I usually don't whip out my tactical knife to open presents for family members at Christmas. Plus, as has been said, multiple locations means easier access in complex situations.
Plus, I was a Boyscout. Be prepared!
I have not been able to learn a "one blade for all" and still be able have fun with my really like of having and using several blades,I have my resources with me regardless of which primary blade I choose.
I'm a new user to this forum (member of 2 other knife forums) I carry a Benchmade 710 and a SOG SE 14 at work. They cut like nobody's business. When not working, I lean towards a low pocket carry 4 inch. Great to be on board. Anyone have some thoughts on a light fixed blade EDC that's in the 2-300$ range? Thanks.
1 knife and 1 gun....from what I've read here. I'm a minimalist. But, my wife still gives me strange looks when she sees me gear up to go out. Right now I'm carrying an XD9sc and a Kershaw RJ II. Nebraska has some interesting laws regarding 'knives'. Something I need to consider when buying EDC blades/tools.
Kershaw Blur in my strong side pocket.
Leatherman Micra on my key chain
Sometimes Kershaw Brawler on my week side unless I'm carrying two guns and have my P3AT on my weak side.
Weak side weapon is there for retention if I ever open carry.
Mini Griptillian in offside pocket or watch pocket on jeans.
Spyderco Endura 4 FFG Blade on strong side.
The carry knives can run from a Benchmade Griptillian, Benchmade Rift, or Benchmade Triage to Emerson CQC-7, CQC-13, Commander, HD-7, or PSARK; also a small assortment of Spyderco.
Benchmade bone collector on strong side..and multi tool on the other side. Sometimes a fixed buck knife on my belt.
SOG Trident
ColdSteel Mini AK-47
Victorinox Spirit in back pocket.
