I bought an old Cold Steel, fixed blade knife from a neighbor. It looks like he used a grinder to sharpen it.
I like knives, I like them to be sharp, and strong and have a good grip. What should I do to put a factory edge back on this blade?

You might also learn to do it yourself. In that case the question is what kind of knife are we talking about. The purpose of the knife will determine the grind best suited for the blade. There is lots of information online about different grinds and their uses.First, I would look it up on Cold Steel's web site just to see what it looked like originally.
