    white lightning lubricant

I saw some of this in the gun store specifically marketed for knives. It leaves a thin coat of wax that lubricates folder hinges and protected metal at the same time. I didn't by the gun store stuff but went home and used some of the same brand made for bicycle chains. It works great. If you buy it get the Bicycle stuff as you get more for less money.

Hey, I've been using that for years the bicylce chain of my Zox Z Frame. Never thought of using it on my knives. I'll have to give it a try!

Thanks for the info about being able to buy it in a bike shop and it being cheaper. I am not a big bike rider but I have a large collection of knives I have to protect.
