WalMart Black Friday Score
I walked through WalMart today and saw a nice little EDC accessory set. For $20 you get a Kershaw Brawler SpeedSafe knife, a tactical pen, and LED flashlight. The flashlight is kinda crappy, but the knife and pen are nice little items. Go see if your WalMart has any of these.

Cool! Nice buy. Here's what I snatched last night through the military store web site (aafes.com) for $99 shipped (it was 50% off the store's price).

I have a chinese Kershaw that I carry everywhere and just field-dressed my deer with. Can't complain. I have the $50 open assist American made Kershaw blade as well. Simply awesome. But I don't carry it much. Sound's dumb but it's wicked sharp. Today I cut my thumb pretty bad with the cheapo Kershaw and I won't go into details (field-dressing a deer) had I had the spring assist, I wouldn't have a thumb right now.
Enjoy the score. I would not venture out to the shopping world on Black Friday if you paid me...

I just picked up the same set from my local walmart. The knife is nice, the pen is pretty nice, I dropped the pen today getting out of the car and it took a tiny little nick from the window break part.

A "tactical" pen is usually constructed of aircraft grade turned Aluminum and serves the multiple purposes of being used as an ordinary writing pen, and a puncturing implement/weapon & often times also features a glass breaker or skull crusher.

Always carry a pen. If it just happens to be of aircraft grade metal................... so be it!

You and that Zombie thing again....! I would not prefer to get that close to have to employ the Tactical Pen. Afterall, Zombies scratch as well as bite.

I bought one of these sets myself. I am very satisfied with what I got for what I paid. The only problem I have so far is the ink cartridge on the tactical pen is a little jacked up. I think the ball in the tip was dropped before it was packaged as the ink is really inconsistent when I write with it. Staples carries refills so I am not upset by this much. Overall it was a great set.
It is my first Kershaw knife and I am really impressed. Kinda sucks that I just bought a Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops folder a few days prior and now I replaced it already!

I bought a set as well.
I must admit, I really bought the set just for the tactical pen (I've been considering one for a while) and I'm very impressed with the knife, considering the cost. The flashlight isn't worth writing home about, but it even came with batteries. I would pay $20 for just the pen and knife and still call it a good deal.
I'm going to pick up a few more sets for gifts.
