    My New EDC

    I went to the kershaw factory warehouse sale this weekend. Every year, first weekend in December, Kershaw blows out all their factory seconds at rock bottom prices in a three day sale. It is not uncommon for people to camp out for two days to get a good spot in line, or for there to be a constant two hour wait just to get into the building. Factory seconds include knives that may have a minor flaw that make it unsuitable for full retail sale, but still function just as well and are safe for use. The carry no warranty and have no collector value, which make them perfect for people who want to use their knives without fear of ruining the value.

    Anywhoo, Here is my lucky find for the day! The Zero Tolerance 0560:






    Normally, MSRP on this knife is $325. It can be found easily online for $265 or less. A factory second, given to me at a special price by the director of sales and marketing, cost me $34! As far as I can tell,, the only flaw I can find is some poor machining marks on the flipper stud.

    Nice knife! BTW, NONE of my knives have any collector value. 'Cause once I get 'em, they look wayyy too much like...pry bars & screw drivers!

    Love it! I've been carrying a Kershaw Blur EVERYWHERE/EVERYDAY since 2005 and I simply love it.
    Kershaw makes great knives and that one, Sir... is a beauty!

    No, this sale is only held at the Kershaw Factory in Tualatin, OR, usually the last/first weekend in nov/dec. Its a three day event (fri-sun) and there is usually a small group who camps out early.
