I feel it. Unfortunately I can't do much about it with Christmas upon us. I would love to go buy an M4 or something in that family.

We should not forget that the spark which ignited the American Revolution was caused by the British attempt to confiscate the firearms of the colonists. -

I'm good already.

Already set...
Interestingly enough I cruised by a few online gun dealers and all M4gery's are "out of stock"...
Hope that anyone else here saw the writing on the wall years ago and planned accordingly.

No. I got everything I need when the present administration got in office the FIRST time.
It wasnt hard to figure. All those that kept their heads in the sand, crossed their fingers and hoped for the best are too late now.

I don't get the "must buy now" mentality. Should you not have been prepared last week? The week before? Why now? I have plenty of what I need in firearms, spare parts, ammo, reloading supplies. Whenever the Chicken Little mentality hits I ignore it. If the sky were to fall today or 5 years ago i am just as prepared as I would be right now.

Hotguns must have been typing the same time as me LOL! Same philosophy.

No. I will not let fear drive me to do stupid things, like fill up someone else's pockets.
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.
Funny thing was...
Went to local big box sporting goods store to kill some time at lunch...
.223 and 5.56 gone...
Plenty of 30-30 and 12ga on the shelf...
I grabbed a few boxes...
Not out of pressure; just replacing what I used from my stock when I took my kids to the range last week.

Lost all of mine in a boating accident and don't plan on buying anymore... Why does everybody keep asking?
My personal take on this is that I don't feel pressured into buying anything. I already have what I can get, legally in CA that is. Although I don't believe that there would be much more of a "ban" on anything else that you can currently get here. I am afraid that what people already have is one thing, but sadly and for some strange reason, I have a gut feeling that a national panic-buy will do nothing but spark perceived acceptance of an impending ban. I hope I'm wrong. And just because I live in CA where there are already ludicrous weapons-type restrictions, it doesn't mean that I'm not along for the fight with the rest of you to keep the freedoms that you have today.

I don't feel "pressured" to do anything, but it has changed the time frame of some pre-planned purchases.
This might be a good time to auction a spare AR-15 receiver set.
I don't always have nothing to say, but when I do, I post it on Facebook.
Dont do it now. Wait a few months. It's liable to be worth its weight in gold.
