Never been a that big in to knives so I don't know what to buy. I carry a sog flash II now and it's okay, I just hate the half serration so I'm looking for a new edc knife for under $100 what's your pic and why

By the way I have broke every kershaw and gerber iv owned except an old gerber parabellum I was given
A Spyderco with the wave feature, either the Endura or Delica, depending on the blade length your prefer. Fastest deploying folders I own. And they lock up solid.
I also have a Benchmade Griptilian, and it is a solid utilitarian knife, just a little slower to deploy.

I agree with buckeye a spyderco is hard to beat. Dont know what kind of technique you'll use but the endura will give you more reach. The resilience is about half the price but doesnt carry as comfortably. Good luck
Sent you a PM. Hope that helps you :)

I agree with spyderco. I have dozens of folders, but I'm usually sporting a spyderco (along with a leatherman or swiss army).
Spyderco Caly 3 rides deep and looks professional for business casual. Endura or Delica are quicker out of the pocket when wearing jeans or cargo pants. Other folders in rotation are SOG Aegis, SOG Visionary II, and Kershaw skyline (light tasks only).
I EDC a Spyderco Delica 4 wave and love it. I also have a Spyderco Resilience and a SOG Aegis and they're in my rotation.
The griptillian and a lower end spyderco where two that I was looking at. I just didn't know if the non American made spydercos were worth buying
I'm carrying a Spyderco Manix 2. You can find it in your price range, comes in a plain edge model, very strong lock up, should fit most hands well, good non-slip grip, belt clip, tip-up carry. And this model is American made in Golden, Colorado.

For a nice mid priced folder, the spydercos are tough to beat

I may pick up a spyderco endura

what he said!
I carry a Spyderco w/ wave feature (Delica) and love it. Solid, quick to deploy and easy to carry.
I had to change the pocket clip on mine because it got caught on something and snapped off, but that was only after I had bent it a number of times and then bent it back into place. Not sure why this happend to me but since I have replaced the clip it has not happened again.
Love this knife and carry it daily if I am in blue jeans / casual wear. I carry a small Gerber when I am in dress slacks.
You can't go wrong with the Delica w/ wave feature IMO.
