Multi-State Hassel Free Folder
Okay, can anyone give me an idea of what size folder would be safe to carry in multiple jurisdictions while traveling, by auto or maybe bus for a person without a CCP?
I might be going around the South West USA but NOT to Kalifornia.
Current pocket carry is a CRKT B.U.L.L. w/ 3"blade.
Also would that or a larger blade be okay if put away in my carry bag for bus travel?

check here

This should cover it. also,

IANAL but if I remember correctly, anything (non auto) UNDER 3" is good just about anywhere. I think its Alabama or Georgia has some 2.5" limit.

One thing to know, do not carry a double edge blade. In most states that is considered a "dirk" and is illegal to carry. Most southern states have a 3.5" "concealed" knife. However if its in your bag and you dont pull it you shouldnt have much problem.
From my years on the street I dont see any problem you'd encounter with a CRKT BULL, it actually apprears to be a very smart choice for carry as it dosent have the apperance that might cause you issues.
Safe travels and check 6.

My main thing is if I was to take it out say to open a plastic wrapped burrito I just nuked in the micro-wave of a 7-11 I wouldn't have the average person get spastic about it.
I really hate to get anything much smaller than the BULL as with my big mitts they can be a PIA to open despite all the added thumb studs and other do-dads on knives these days.

For those little task and since u like CRKT, take a look at one of thier K.I.S.S knives. I use one as a money clip and the blade would work if needed in an awecrap moment. BTW they open a QuickTrip burrito wrapper just fine.
