    Track this down: help

About 5 years ago I read an article in a magazine that I can't recall the name if but it was a male related one. Anyway there is a custom knife maker who used to be special forces and he goes on telling all these story's about using his own knives for his missions and what not. A friend actually ordered a knife from him about the same time and it was pretty awesome. Well I'm trying to find his web page but I'm having no luck and basically only have the info I have her to go off of. Also the friend and I have lost touch, likewise lost the contact info.

    Help?

Nope could find on that site.

Not strider, they're to pretty. The ones I'm talking about look like a large piece of steel wrapped in 550.

Nice try but they are too commercial. Unless he's made a lot of changes I'm pretty sure it's just him.

QKshooter, you might have something there. I'm satisfied because that particular double blade in the link intrigues me. However I'm not completely sure because there is an awful lot of plastic, rubber, and impractical designs. It's possible he changed though and went commercial so this could very well be it.

Thank you everyone. I'm ending my search, I'm content with tops.

When I post a PIC with a link here on D.C. - I am handing TOPS Knives a few hundred or more hits to their site that they would not have got otherwise.
