Benchmade is A+, nice choice on the full smooth blade without serrations.

That G23 was my favorite dept-issue in all my years of LE, too. Double-tap a couple 'duty-grade' rounds and your immediate problem should be solved.
    Good choices, there.

I love my Benchmade "Mini Ruckus". Excellent quality knives, really like your choice.

    Recently bought Benchemade 810, 943s, 556, & 176 SOCP Dagger.
All super nice, I am sure you will be happy with it and any other BM'S.

I've owned lots of Benchmades over the years, and with the exception of one (mini-Stryker, liner lock failure), they have all been outstanding knives. Can't go wrong with the Axis models.
