Almost never carry a fixed blade knife. I carry a gun.

If I can't carry a gun, then I usually have a folding knife with me.

If I couldn't carry and gun and knew I was going some place that was a "higher threat" area,,,,,, I would either not go (1st choice) or I would take my Cold Steel Heavy-Duty Sword Cane and maybe my Cold Steel SRK.

EDC is almost always a folder - SOG Sog-tac or Kershaw Blur. Only time that changes is when I am camping and then it might move up to some sort of machete depending on circumstances.

Greetings. The only time I carry a fixed blade is when out in the woods. Otherwise it is a Gerber folding knife to accompany my Glocks. If I'm out for a bike ride or walk I also carry udap pepper spray for animals.

I carry this offhand along with my glock: SUAREZ INTERNATIONAL - THE GRAB N' STAB

I carry a cold steel espada large folded offhand and Im having a custom kydex and under the armpit paracord rig made for me so I can carry it fixed.

Fixed blade is wonderful backup under pressure where folders lag heavily.

I carry a Patton custom 5.5" blade or the Bagwell fighter at 10.5" of blade daily. Haven't carried a folder for over 10 years. Folders are broken when you buy them.

My carry fixed blade is a Shadowtech spearpoint.

I mounted the original kydex sheath to a comptac belt mount and I carry it appendix cross draw.

When I'm at home in Utah, I EDC a White River Caper in a pocket sheath.
