This is one tiny folder but it is intimidating somehow. I think it is because the blade sort of looks like the beak of a bird of prey.
Feels very solid and well made. Open easy but those of us with clumsy hands must be careful folding it back...ouchie.
Rob, thanks again!
Nice peice!!! I actually saw an ad in one of my gun mags recently and was l ooking at them but was questioning getting one...In my younger years I've had to pull a knife before, thank god I didn't end up using it, but I think somewhere deep in my mind is why I started carrying a little larger blade. People underestimate small blades.
I've had mine for about 7 months: really love Chad Los Banos' engineering. The Subcom sits in my hand at about the same angle as my Hideaway Knife with about the same amount of controllability and grip strength, but cost me about an eighth as much. The Subcom has replaced my other EDC knives.

Yes, & that's why I sold it. The Warcom's blade is real similar to the HAK, so it's really like having the same knife. I did keep my desert subcom, though (Like the one in 0.02's pics).

Not on display: Rossi 462 (which should be coming home real soon) and a small red Gerber folder that rests inside my wife's purse. Also the Taurus PT-92 and I just realized that I am gonna need a knife and another light to go with it. Darn it! When will it end?

Yeah, I EDC my desert subcom as a money clip. With its combo blade, it's a handy little "do stuff" knife. Alot of guys buy ALL the different models & you can almost carry a different one each day of the week.
