Good point, survival and self defense...probably not the place to offer circumcision services, too, eh?!?!??!

I've always kept several around the RV, car, and sailing bag--usually anywhere other than my pocket. The Tinker will go down as one of the keystones of western civilization.

Mmmmm, I love those knives. I had a Champ once.....a really nice older neighbor gave it to me. I loved it....I still kick myself for losing track of it. Most recently I had a Recruit, and somehow that too got lost. I really need to get another one.....my Gerber is much sturdier and more versatile, but overkill 99.1% of the time and not as nice to behold or carry.

I received a Pioneer as a gift from a friend. Loved it, carried it everyday for about 10 yrs. Loaned it to somebody one day for a few minutes...she laid it down and forgot it...gonzo.

Went out and bought myself a slightly larger model which included scissors, tweezers, toothpick, etc. Carry it everyday also.

I've also got several Camilus SAK clones that Uncle Sam issued scattered about in different tool boxes, range bag, etc. These have a dimpled steel outer case and 3 tools besides a 3" blade.
