    I only used the bench grinder with little pressure to knock the teeth off,

    Likely took some temper out of the blade even with a little pressure. The blade has a low rockwell heat treat to begin with from the testing of that products steel.

    One more point to keep in mind is that with that blades present profile, if you stab defensively with it, the blade may just get caught and hang up on muscle or clothes.

    Pretty nice execution on defanging the blade there, but it may have been better to just get a straight edge to begin with IMO. Good luck with the folder.

    Yep...I had the same problem, gave CRKT a call, and they sent them right out, free of charge...had them in two days, then did the loctite routine. No worries!

    My Favorite "Cheap" Knife

    I've gotta go with the Smith & Wesson Black Ops Assisted Opener. They go for around $35. Good solid knives, 440C steel, come with the pocket clip and just look real nice.
