I'm glad that ladies in some places are talking about self-defence. I only wish they'd grant equal time to somebody who could gently suggest that pepper spray / tasers have a number of limitations, especially against determined, drugged up perpetrators. Maybe the taser can be a 'gateway carry piece' and once they carry that it'll get them used to the idea.
Would love to let them palm a J Frame, Kahr P9 et all while pitching the need to manage multiple attackers simultaneously which of course cannot be done with pepper spray or tasers.

I heard on the radio that alot of states are banning them. Saying they have killed at least 2 people.
Don't know how true that is, but it isn't good for a "non lethal" weapon

No offense, but nothing is "non-lethal", you could beat someone to death, with a gallon of milk, but noone is going to ban milk, except of course Britain and Kalifornia. More people have died from being OC sprayed than tasered and what the media won't tell you, is what the real cause of death was, they just say "man tasered is now dead". What they don't say is, man dead after being tasered, because, he was jacked up on meth and the taser put his heartrate over the limit and as I like to say he "expired". Not trying to haze anyone, but like I said nothing is "non-lethal", watch out for me and my gallon of milk.

You are right. Every place I have come across specifically calls these items (bean bag shotgun rounds, OC, taser, etc) less-lethal, rather than non-lethal for that specific reason. Anything can be lethal, the BG just gets a better chance at survival with these items.
