Mine goes clear over and touches the other liner. Not a big deal sicne Emerson will fix it for free. I just need to wait for my CQC7 to get back form getting refurbished before I send it in.I've also heard so many negative comments concerning liner locks
But the Commander is defenitley the best knife ever.

Excellent and just in time for an early xMas gift to yourself!!!
Although I have carried tactical folders for years for some reason or another I just decided to purchase several Karmabit Emerson folders and will say without a doubt Ernest puts out quality knifes. Among future purchases will be a SF Commander and Trainer/Drone.
I believe the Wave feature othered on Emerson knifes is the third best thing that has happened to tactical folders. All three are equally important. Spyderco hole, Pocket Clip and Wave feature. Emerson offers all three on several knifes.

My CQC-7 is one of the first ones he made and it still works after all these years. Several carry the Commander and I'll just say, if its Emerson, then its Good 2 Go. I have three and wont change or trade a single one.

I've had my CQC-7 for several years now and I trust it as much as I trust my carry gun.

I recently bought a mini-comander. I do like the knife and am now wondering if I shouldn't have bought the full size commander.
While looking at a website that sells the Commander, my eyes locked on to the CQC-11. Man, I like that knife. But, I was disappointed to read that the CQC-11 has a 4.1" blade, just 0.1" too long to be carried legally in TN. I am disappointed.
I'm still mulling over the Commander or the CQC-10, but leaning toward the Commander.
