cool knife. I decided to quit buying any more, as I have several I don't use now.
Nice knife, I'd like to have one but I won't buy a knife with a liner-lock.

Kenpo, The liner locks on my other Emerson's haven't failed yet. And from what I hear at the Usual Suspect Network forum, they rarely ,rarely do.

Very cool - enjoy your knife! I have the mini-Commander. How do you like your Wave feature? (It's fun, but it can tear up your pants if you use it often.)![]()

I do tho still want a Kershaw BOA - just ''because''!![]()

Yeah, I know. But I've had too much bad luck with liner locks that I just don't trust them. If I were to buy another one, I'd be constantly waiting for it to fail and that's not the kind of attitude you want to have toward a tool that you may need really, really bad someday.Originally Posted by Justin

I've kinda wanted and Emerson Commander from the first time I saw it. I'm not too crazy about liner locks though.
I own a Commander and a PSARK; both liner locks fail the "spine whack" (against the heel of my hand!) consistently. I admire the design, but the fitting of the liner locks prohibits my carrying either of them!
I have an Emerson CQB myself. Enjoy!

Bob is doing me damage with those Microtechs; I bought a pair of Terzuolas from him, just got my HALO III, and I think I need another..... :chairshotOriginally Posted by Justin
Bob is one of the good guys out there for sure. Ya'll keep the orders going into him.
Excellent folder, enjoy!

I've used a Commander on-duty for years and never had the liner-lock fail. Simply an awesome knife!
I've had my Commander for almost a year now and I love it. I've also heard so many negative comments concerning liner locks, that I put mine to the test. So far, I've had zero probs, and it stays locked.
May the Schwartz be with you
