The saps hit as hard as most palm saps and some smaller regular saps and blackjack...but are a much more covert design.

David and I are also at this time working on a covert sheath design for the hideaway/hak knife ....The design and/or concept of the "sheath" have NOT been made before ..truly original ! stay tuned .

I see several nice "attitude adjusters" there...I need to pick up a top-popper one of these days.

who did the 'jack in the second pic?

Daggers - Saps & Knucks - Boo Hoo - Not legal for use in Pennsylvania.
They are considered to be prohibited offensive weapons.

I'll take that old Jay-Pee Slugger anytime. The rest looks like it's out of Mall Ninja International.

    A problem in Virginia, too

Concealed carry would be a problem in Virginia, too.

§ 18.2-308. Personal protection; carrying concealed weapons; when lawful to carry.

    A. If any person carries about his person, hidden from common observation, (i) any pistol, revolver, or other weapon designed or intended to propel a missile of any kind by action of an explosion of any combustible material; (ii) any dirk, bowie knife, switchblade knife, ballistic knife, machete, razor, slingshot, spring stick, metal knucks, or blackjack; (iii) any flailing instrument consisting of two or more rigid parts connected in such a manner as to allow them to swing freely, which may be known as a nun chahka, nun chuck, nunchaku, shuriken, or fighting chain; (iv) any disc, of whatever configuration, having at least two points or pointed blades which is designed to be thrown or propelled and which may be known as a throwing star or oriental dart; or (v) any weapon of like kind as those enumerated in this subsection, he shall be guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. A second violation of this section or a conviction under this section subsequent to any conviction under any substantially similar ordinance of any county, city, or town shall be punishable as a Class 6 felony, and a third or subsequent such violation shall be punishable as a Class 5 felony. For the purpose of this section, a weapon shall be deemed to be hidden from common observation when it is observable but is of such deceptive appearance as to disguise the weapon's true nature.

The Concealed Handgun Permit, is just that. Not a CWP.

AZ, you remember sap gloves, right?

I still have mine, from back in the day.

You bet, but mine are a little tight. Now those worked well, and were invisible! You could drop Tyson and nobody was the wiser.

I'll never forget the time when I was in the Army and ran across some Navy guys during R&R. Guys do what they do, but nobody told me the old Navy trick of the roll of nickles folded up in their girly neck scarves. Nite-nite!

Sap gloves - packed "pockets" of heavy powdered Lead.

I had a pair when I worked outside the U.S.

The leather was black bull hide.

VERY INTERESTING ..Thats the very same way I feel about knives.

I was cut bad 2 times and knives really suck bad on the receiving end

Jack is made by disector and sap is NOT a jay-pee but a sap made by D-3 and its Mall Ninja corp. Really I see your "ninja" point... I do like odd weapons but only from a collectors item stand point.

Who the heck in their right mind...would EDC carry a garotte ????

Saps are ok here in MO with a CCW (but not brass knuckles). I have a 9" Texas Sap and while I basically bought it because I could, I can sure see its potential.
Good thing is it's heavy, but that's its bad thing, too. A lot to pack around!

David, check out some of Todd Foster's work (on TPI). A 9" can get a tad more "oomph!" than you might intend.
