    A few knives

Here are my main carry knives:

    Top to bottom:

    SOG (semi-auto)
    Buck (semi-auto)
    Benchmade (manual)

I'm ALWAYS up for another knife though...mostly in the $20 or less category...it's becoming an addiction

    Nice benchmade

And I feel the same way about knives(10+), flashlights (6+) and guns (5).

I carry either a Spyderco Endura 4 or Native I as my primary knife carry.

Knives can do that to you! At least you haven't gotten into the wonderful world of customs yet. That can really leave a mark!

Nice, everytime I go to a gun show it seems like I come home with a new knife.

with few exceptions, anything in the $20 or less category is not a knife, it is a somewhat sharp, poorly designed, folding pry-bar.

I carry a Benchmade Mini Griptilian and I feel lost without it. I even have a new spare one in my sock drawer in case I lose it. Thats just sad.

Its not a 20 dollar knife but it is the best I have ever owned

Wow, fine, fine collection. Please tell me:
    a. What do you think about the SOG? How sharp. How reliable? Spring problems?
    b. Where did you buy your Buck, and, if not too personal, your price and what you think of it. It is really a sweet, sweet work of art.

Ridge, I have a Kershaw Cyclone spring assist. I love the knife but I have had to exchange it four times because of a bad spring. Any trouble with yours?

I like the SOG, all though it is just a tad small for my hands...but it works great, spring is reliable (not to strong or soft) and the blade is an AUS8 blade (very sharp and holds it's edge)...for about $45, it's a fine compact carry knife.

The Buck, it's a Tempest, but a design exclusive to Cabelas, which was were I picked it up. I believe it was about $70 on sale...it's really "hefty", feels comforting in your hand. The ASAP semi-auto action is rock solid...great knife!

As for the sub $20 knives? Some are crap, some not so bad, but folders are always fun (plus I'd rather screw around with and break/mess up a $20 knife instead of a $100 one)

    Here are a few more:

    Yup

Great compact knife...the blade seems delicate, but it's very strong and durable!

The SOG Trident is my primary carry knife, the S.A.T (SOG Assisted Technology) allows this knife to open quickly and effectively, I have had this knive for about 8 months and with everyday use at my job (Fire/EMS) it still holds a factory sharp edge. MSRP is listed at $110 but if you shop arround you can find them from $40 to $70 new.

I have been carrying a Gerber Applegate Fairbairn mini covert for awhile and really like the way it conceals easy in the pocket if I am out somewhere and don't want my knife to be seen clipped to my pocket.
