Anyone know of a good one that won't break the bank? Tired of the clip such as on my Gerber Paraframe being in the way when using it.

there are plenty of knives out now that have clips you can switch for leftie carry. i can't think of one major knifemaker that doesn't. i'm partial to spyderco and cold steel myself. you might want to look at the spyderco endura/delica seies.

+1...if it's got a ambi. pocket-clip and opening device (stud, hole, disc, whatever) you're set.

I've had various knives where the stud in the blade could be reversed, some with the disc on top of the blade, but I currently carry a CRKT M16. It is quick to deploy for me and probably easier for a lefty to do a one-handed close than a right-handed person

I'm a lefty, and carry a Spyderco Endura with wave. I prefer backlocks to liner locks, since most of those are made the wrong way for me.

    Lots out there.

As has been said before. Look at the Spydercos. You will find one that you like.

Almost all your Benchmade's are ambi. All the models with the Axis lock have a stud and the lock release on both sides. The pocket clip can be switched also. I carry the 943 and 707 Sequel.

Spyderco with a wave, their fourth generation of knives have 4 different positions the clip can be.

I think the key is the part that says that won't break the bank. Im looking for a lefty knife for weak side carry but I can't afford to by a $100 knife.

+1 on Spyderco Endura 4. The clip can go on either side, plus choose tip up or tip down carry. The blade hole is ambidextrous, they're thin, light weight, you have a choice of SS or nylon scales, blades come in smooth, combo or Spyder (fully serrated) edge. Solid lock (on back instead of liner). You can get one on eBay for around $50 delivered in the Buy it Now sales. Great knives.

Check out a SOG Flash II if you want a bigger knife (can be had online for about $35-$40). Assisted opener with a side piston lock, with a reversable pocket clip that gets the knife deep in the pocket. The 1/2 serrated blade is the cheapest model I see out there, although I would highly highly highly reccomend a plain edge over a partially serrated one. The SOG Flash I is the same setup, but with a smaller blade. I currently have a SOG Twitch II - I love the thing.

Personally, I've made my decision to go with this one here:

SOG Knives: Trident Straight Edge Folding Knife TF2

One hell of a knife with good steel that will hold a wicked edge (especially assuming you know how to properly sharpen a blade).

I ended up with a Benchmade Griptilian,OD Green w/black blade. Spent a little more than I wanted to but, you get what you pay for.
