    New EDC Knife

Picked up an Emerson CQC7BW at the range Saturday. I never thought I'd replace my Benchmade 14210 as my EDC, but once I got the hang of the Wave feature, it is much faster than the Axis lock, and that is fast. The wave is slower to close though, but that does not matter much. Pic below:

Very nice looking knife! What kind of blade (steel) does it have?
If you own a handgun and your state law allows it, please carry.

Greg, now that you've replaced the Benchmade, are you interested in selling it? I'm looking for a backup.

BTW, holster's fantastic. Easily the best I've ever used.

Always liked those. Never bought one. Wish it had a reversible clip. I'm a lefty. Suppose I could get used to it "backwards", I've done it before.

    Hey Jake,
Maybe we can work something (else) out! Look through your "yard sale" pile and see what you might want to trade.

    Glad you like the holster!

Great choice. I EDC a Mini Commander. The Emerson Wave is hard to beat. I think my next will be a Karambit or a LaGriffe.

I just recently got a emerson mini-commander and love it. Great knife and very fast to get into action. Will be adding more emersons in the future. I would like a snubby and/or a karambit.

I was actually thinking a Mini CQC7 was in order. Maybe I'll look into the Mini Commander.

I prefer the Commander blade over the CQC. Check out the Usual Suspect Network to get your knife fix. They have the Suspect Sanctum which is dedicated to Emerson's.
