    New Kershaw

Just picked up this assisted opener from wally world. It's a kershaw,Tanto Blur, model #1670tblkst. 3 3/8" blade, 4.5" closed. Cost $55. One of my main reasons for choosing it was that it's made in the USA and has a lifetime warranty! Anyone have one of these?? Keith

Yep, I have one. I like it and use it as my utility knife.

IMO Kershaw's speedsafe knives are the best assisted openers available. Now if they'd just start making some for left handed users I'd be happy.

I've never seen a Kershaw with a reversible clip. Do you know something I don't?

I own a lot of kershaws and they have the option to switch between tip up/tip down carry, but I have never seen a kershaw that allowed you to switch the clip for right/left hand carry.

I love the assisted opening that they use. Kershaws are one of my favorites. I would carry my Blur more - but it rips up the pockets of my pants!

    I must stand corrected.
I have flipped clips before, and incorrectly assumed I could on my Kershaw (although no need to do so). As I read your reply, I pulled my Leek out of my pocket and discovered my error.

(The clip on my Leek can be flipped, but the the holes provided on the other side are at the opposite end. However, I can draw and open it with either hand, just the way it is...either pocket...no problem!)

I spoke without looking, and my assumption was wrong.

    Stay armed...with a right-handed Leek...stay safe!

Great knife- the textured inserts WILL tear your pants up over time, just so you know.

I prefer "add character", tear up sounds so negative.

I love my K.O. Blur. Great Knife, as Locopelli said.

I like kershaw's AO feature. Need to pick one up again sometime.

I was a Gerber and Buck fan until I started carrying the assisted opening Kershaws. Its all I carry these days on my weak side front pocket clip.. Its a Kershaw scallion I bought at Wally world for 40.00 and absolutley believe its the perfect (for me ) carrying knife. Light weight, scary sharp out of the box, easy to keep a razor edge on, with by broadhead sharpener. I've skinned over 10 wild hogs with it and it perfromed super. Kershaw's are great knives...
