    My knife collection

Packing up for Iraq, got all my knives together and took a pic. I still need to buy a Ka-Bar TDI...that's next on my list. I'd also like to get a balisong or two. I've lost a few knives along the way also, but none of them were worth replacing.

    Benchmade Nimravus x4
CRKT M16 (I'm not a CRKT fan at all...they don't hold an edge or take an edge like a BM)
Spyderco Byrd (Got this one as a cheap knife to get abused. Sanded off all the black cause I was bored)
Gerber Auto (Never used it...not sure how much I like it yet)
Benchmade AFO Auto (My favorite folder)
SOG Seal Pup (Found this in Iraq)
Unknown (I bought a blade, sharpened it, and wrapped the handle.
    USMC Ka-Bar

    Adrenaline,

Keep it safe and when you get back I hope the only thing you needed your steel for, was to clean your nails.

Hmm, that might be my SOG Seal pup. I loaned it to a friend who got deployed to Iraq back in 01. He came back without it. Said that he lost it in his C-hut. I told him to turn right back around and go get it.

Sad part is, he PCS'd to a new unit just as they were prepping for deployment to Iraq.

I agree with you on the CRKT. I have the same one and it will not hold an edge. My 1st Gen CRKT that I bought when they first came on the market was great, but that got lost in a lake in Arizona during a Field excursion.

How do you like the Nimravus? Looks like a sweet blade.

I just ordered my TDI on Cheaperthandirt yesterday, can't wait for it to show up.

Oh, don't forget to sharpen your E-tool edge... mine still holds a razor edge after using it while offroading all the time.

Haha I use my E-tool for offroading all the time also. It works great. Beats filling barriers with it for sure...

The Nimravus is probably my favorite fixed blade. Fits the hand really well (and the newer version has an even nicer grip), holds a great edge, takes on a great edge, plenty of straight blade, and just the right amount of serration. It's also got a lanyard hole, thumb ridges, and a somewhat decent plastic sheath. Nothing more to ask for IMO.

Does CTD sell the smaller TDI? I'm looking to use it for EDC and don't want the full size one.

Added the TDI to the collection. I've been eyeballing another BM folder too.

Cool collection, you are well prepared for any emergency for which a knife could be used. I am still assembling mine.
