Lots of great knife manufacturers out there, but I've become fixated on Benchmade. Got one coming in a few days. I'll post a pic after I get it. Let's see what you got!

This is my Benchmade, thanks for buying it for us (issued during my last deployment).
i've got five. Two folders (griptillian and titaninum sleeved) over seven years old, and three non-folders about five years old (neck knife elisewhitz, small snoody fixed blade with micarta handles and sharkskin sheath, trout n' fish knife).

The D2 Tool steel blade hardened to 57-60 Rockwell holds a razor-like edge and is treated with a BK1® coating to prevent rust and corrosion. And for a solid grip in wet or dry conditions alike, the palm-contoured handle has a swelled base and molded texture with soft rubber inserts for slip resistance. It also has a reversible steel carry clip.
Blade length: 4.16".
Overall length: 8.72".
Weight: 4.6 ounces.
Color: Black.

Here's my daily Axis Auto. Don't make fun of the red grip, I lost a black one in the woods and figured it would be easier to find! Very strong knife and wonderful locking system.

I don't usually carry a folder, but if I do, the Benchmade Osbourne 940 gets the nod lately.
If not the small Benchmade above, I'll usually carry a folder that mirrors my straight blade for length and strength, this one---------
"Specifications
* Total Length: 10.50 in.
* Blade Length: 4.50 in.
* Weight: 9.2 oz.
* Blade Thickness: .25 nom
* Blade Steel: CTV2™ Stainless Steel
* Handle: T6160 Aircraft Aluminum
* Crisis Cross™ Cross Bolt Safety
* Raptor Lock™ Back Lock
* Heavy Duty Pocket Clip. Reversible for true ambidextrous use."
I prefer the bigger blades myself.

No pictures, but mine is a Mini-Nitrous Tanto Stryker, model 906
I have an older Benchmade folder. I believe it's the 705, with black coated serrated blade. I've had it for many, many years. In fact, I can't even remember when I got it... I think around 1996 or 1198. The black coating has worn off in many places, it's not as sharp as I'd like it, but it still works like the day I got it. Can't go wrong with Benchmade quality.![]()
Don't ever underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.
Got this yesterday. 950 Rift with a black serrated blade. The texture on the handle is pretty neat.
