I have the 1477 TDI...I don't always take it with me, but it is a quick draw and is VERY sharp...nice knife!

I love the idea of the TDI, but I am a big guy and feel like I am going to cut my love handles open when I draw it.

I will try the belt clip as suggested above and see if that helps, right now I don't use it b/c of above.

I really thought I was the only one to think that! When I would draw it I would always try to angle it away from me. It now resides in my truck, clipped to the visor. It's ok there.

I've got one better. I was at TDI and saw a demo version before they were released.

i've had this knife for a long while, don't care for the 'sheeth' but the knife is solid with a nice edge.

I carry it when I am somewhere I feel two pistols and the benchmade in my pocket isn't quite enough.

I wear one at 11:00. It is the small with the straight edge. I have a custom sheath for it that is much better than the one it came with. It is also in the right position to be behind my extra mags on my duty belt.

    It's almost always on me.

I wear mine in the same place and also bought one after seeing Limatunes videos. Thats funny stuff.

For anyone searching this topic I hightly recomend the clipon kydex sheath. I picked up my tdi at a gun show and it came with the cruddy belt slide. A day or two after purchasing the TDI I searched ebay for the belt clip sheath. I wear it belt clip out so the sheath rides inside my belt. Much less bulge than the slid on sheath and much easier on and off.

I never carry a firearm without my TDI on my weekside.
