Where do bad folks go when they die. They don't go to heaven where the angels fly. Go to a lake of fire and fry, see them again 'till the Fourth of July
Just checking up on High Altitude and his new knife. You liking it?![]()
Ka Bar TDI...look it up...great fixed blade.
Advice...have a box of Band-Aids available when you first start handling it.![]()

That is kinda of a problem since it is intended to be used under stress as a back up if I understand the marketing correctly. A few people had them in the Indy class last week. Some people like them, some don't. One thing they seems to agree on is that the sheath sucks so you need to add $20-$30 to the price of the knife for some new kydex. My issue with the knife is that during a fight you are likely to be bent forward at the waist just a bit, this inhibiting the handle of the knife which I found to be small. YMMV- George

I spent quite a bit of time with Rich at his shop last week. He is creative, innovative and relentless toward quality. Unfortunately, as with most custom shops of high quality and good reputation, he has a backlog that can sometimes run between one and two months.
I actually really like the Gerber Backup Guardian. Plain edged doube sided bootknife style. Its fairly priced aswell.
the only two fixed blades i carry regularly are these:
utility HAK
CRKT Ryan Plan B

Ryan Plan B is a great little fixed blade. I prefer the La Griffe over the HAK.- George
