3.5" or less fixed blade for carry

I am looking for a small (under 3.5") fixed blade for daily carry.

Something slim, not too bulky, easy to carry and conceal on the belt etc......

    Any suggestions?

I doubt it comes with a nice kydex sheath so any recommendations on a custom kydex sheath maker?

I have plenty of folders but besides a few large fixed blades I take into the woods, I am not too familiar with small daily carry blades.

Not sure if it is what you looking for but my go to SD fixed blade is the Emerson La Griffe. With a few extra sheaths carry options are limitless.

For spare La Griffe Sheaths contact John at www.aircopcustomcarry.com. He understands that all carry options are not great deployment options.- George

You might want to check out Bud Nealy. Welcome to budnealyknifemaker.com

He makes some nice knives, and his MCS II carry system is pretty slick. He usually has some available for immediate delivery too.

Here's a pic of my Nealy Tung Pan. 3 1/2" blade and a beautiful piece of burl.

A less expensive version of that Emerson mentioned above is the CRKT "Bear Claw". A bit beefier in the handle so it won't carry as flat to the body for concealment but it also gives a slightly better grip with less of the frame pinching your hand if you hook something that doesn't move during a cut.

a few knives off the top of my head (in no particular order):
    -Ka-Bar TDI
-Perrin/Emerson LaGriffe or one of the knockoffs
    -Shiv Works Clinch Pick
    -something from Mark Goldsworthy

as far as custom kydex, here are a couple of people who I've gotten stuff from in the past:

Infight Access Kydex, some of Dave's work can be seen here. He also does custom work.

TOPS makes a nice array of, small fixed knives. They've got Kydex sheaths. I've got a Wolf Pup with a 2 1/2in blade. I like it. They're advertising is over-the-top macho, but it's a solid and high quality product.

I can recommend from use three off of Kempo Tex's list, accept that I'll put them in the order of my preference:

    -Shiv Works Clinch Pick
    -Perrin/Emerson LaGriffe
    -Ka-Bar TDI

That Clinch Pick looks interesting, but for half of the cost of a NIB G19? It had better come packaged with an attractive third-world lady of the night or the rough equivalent, fer chrisakes.

That "Art of War" knife looks interesting. For real small, as in possible neck knife, 3 come to mind:
Emerson La Griffe (What I currently use).

HAK: Not sure of how quickly you can get one or their cust. svc. nowadays.

Spyderco SPOT: Nice, but discontinued & getting harder & more expensive.

The Tops Wolf Pup & Ranger Knives Little Bird aren't bad, either. Becker is now back with their BK11 made by Ka-Bar (3.25" blade, 6.75" OAL).

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Bob Dozier has a number of nice knives in that size range. I carry a Straight Personal. They come with a easy on/off Kydex horizontal sheath.

Thanks for all the input guys.

I am going to get a becker necker BK11

1095 steel, thin profile, kydex sheath that you can attach clips to, very reasonable price ($35).

I believe it is a very high value knife for the money and should work out great.
