    Not the answer to the originally posed question, but unless you actually know how to handle yourself in a knife fight it doesn't matter what kind
    of blade you are carrying.

    The emerson is a good blade. Im partial to the Cold steel tanto or srq. Or maybe the ka-bar if i want to go that route.

    I can't imagine having to use my knife before my gun but if it happens I will go to my Ken Onion Kershaw.
