Hi,
I bought a Ka-Bar Mule Folder with the serrated edge. I'm happy with it, but its too difficult to flick open, I have to "whip" it down to open it.
Is there any way to loosen the blade up so that is opens easier?

With a T1, T2, T3, T? screw driver you can loosen the hex screw(s) 'slightly'...oil well...it will loosen.
Actually, with operation and oil, it should loosen on its own.
Additional Note: Be sure to have a box of bandaids available when you work on it.![]()

+1. It will break in.

All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.
Alright, thanks for the recommendations. I keep working on flicking it, it's a bit harder than the other knives I've used, but I'm building up a nice callous.
It will loosen eventually, but be prepared to put a few layers on that callus. I've had mine for about six months and it still doesn't open as easily as I would like.
Life is about choices. One who chooses to attack without cause has also chosen to accept whatever defensive measures his target has readied. If this includes violence and death, so be it.

+1 on the break in. I used some Militec Grease on it and that smoothed things out nicely.
