    My First Primary Carry Folder...

Wellllllll, went to the Knife and Gun Show here in Florence, SC today. My sole purpose was to buy the folder that I've decided on. My decision was based on much reading here, and many opinions and comments of others. The bottom line was, I went after a Spyderco Endura..After walking around and being blown away by ammo and weapons prices, I came to one of the knife vendors I had spoken with at previous shows. There in front of me, was "my knife to be". After passing the social ammenties, I asked to see it. Looked good, felt good, and handled good. After a little "haggling", we all know that no one pays asking price (LOL), I walked away the proud owner of a new Spyderco Endura and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thanks to everyone for all the input that you've provided in other threads that influenced my decision.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

Nice knife! Soooo, is it going to be defense-only or multi-purpose?

Defense only. I don't have a lot of need for a serated edge, so ruled out both the combo and the full serated. For my uses, this knife should last more than MY remaining life time..

Hopefully so...you should never even have to draw it, as long as you have a training blade.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

A good solid knife, I had one and I would get another Endura in a heartbeat.

Are smooth blades much better for defense than serrated?
