    Retsupt99,

Motorhed66 is referring to knife/martial arts training.

You can't go wrong with Modern Combative Systems. I'm lucky enough to live relatively close to mercop. In fact I'll be taking my third course with him at the end of the month.

His material is very well thought out and tailored to be very easy to learn.

Mike Sastre recomended him sometime ago( Wish that guy would give me back my Busse Kerambit) and have been meaning to get where he is for sometime. I believe I can get a pretty decent amount of people to show up.I have contacts with several Police Depts, Bar Staff, and self defense nerds, local MMA guys and regular dudes ...maybe some of the fairer sex types also...already have the location that could support 5 to 30 students easy...Ill call Mercop again today

Laci would be awesome also !

+1 on Brownie, aka Robin Brown of Threat Focused Training ( website is linked on the home page ) He is first class firearms trainer and also skilled in teaching knife, edged weapons & open handed defense. He'll come to you, if a group can be set up. Tell him SASS sent you.

I've found mercop to be an excellent instructor for newbies such as myself(and you). You'll be amazed at how fast you can pick up his methods.
