    knife in car?

Hey all, if you have been on some of my other threads I ask questions a lot! As I have said before, if this is already a thread please let me know.

    Today's question/topic

WHAT KNIFE or OTHER SD TOOL IS LEFT IN YOUR CAR?

not looking for improvised weapons ( tire iron ) or firearms.looking for " I carry a RAT 7 beside my seat" or " got an asp under the seat" for example. I'll start.

I recently got a SOG tiger shark, it goes back and forth between house and car, also I am a LEO so I have my nightstick with in arms reach.

    Let's hear it!

In the wisdom of the state

The State of Kansas [probably others] license me to carry a handgun which must mean they don't expect me to get involved with impact weapons, knives or chemicals.
Not being a LEO and preferring to keep a little distance, I carry my handgun.

I carry knives that are less than 4" which the state says are not dangerous but the state knows.

Same here, a gun or knife left in the car means a stolen weapon to me. JMHO. YMMV.

I never go anywhere without my knife(knives) and i usually have a firearm as well, but i am thinking about adding a multifunctional tool (not like the leatherman style, although that may work to) like the becker tac tool, or a mack knife. I really want something that is a tool and emergency defensive weapon too, I live in the country and often come across downed trees, branches, and sometimes flopping deer, and disabled vehicles.

So the perfect item would be a tree hacking, deer killin, people rescuing, boogy man warding, rescue tool.

    Ok now any suggestions?

I keep a Buck fixed blade hunting knife in two of my cars because they are cheap and I need a quick get out of jammed seat belt tool. Here in Colorado any knife in a car is legal as long as it is not on your person when you are ask to exit the car. I also carry at least tow folders on me.

My Spyderco Delicas are always on me, so they are in the car when I am. I also have a can of pepper spray and a surefire flashlight in my car.

I have a 5-D cell Maglight (Maglite?), a Cold Steel Sjambok, a collapsible Mattock (courtesy of the USMC), and this ridiculously useful thing...

I carried it in Iraq in a modified CamelBak holster. Came in REAL handy with the HMMWVs (nothing else would open that God-Blessed tow pintle) and the occasional "Cordon and Knocks"!
