I just bought a smallish Buck to carry. cheap and I wear it clipped to my pants just behind the first belt loop on my right. the knife follows the join where my leg attaches to groin and it is a perfect shape that I forget I have it and keeps m pocket clear and out of sight.

Im suprised to see no one mention Cold Steel on here. I carry a Cold Steel Recon everyday and its probably been one of, if not the best knife I've ever owned. Very durable.
i myself am a cold steel fan. i like them because of their economy in comparison to their quality. i have a few models: the mini gurkha, the scimitar folder, an imperial katana, the norse hawk, the trail hawk, the mini bushman, and the xl voyager.
I carry an Emerson CQC-7 with a chisel tanto tip. Also lately I have been carrying a Hibbin Claw II Karambit. A sweet little defensive knife from West Java.
Even though I will now and again stick a Microtech in my back pocket by my wallet, I am in my heart a traditional folding slipjoint guy - just old fashion I guess. My favorites are handmade by either Tony or Reese Bose.
Since a Bose knife can sell for over a thousand easy many think I am crazy to carry and use them. I feel that a knife not used is a knife abused. I use every custom knife I have. The one that I wasn't using I traded for the NIB Rohrbaugh R9 below.
A Bose Back Pocket with D2 steel.
Here is the Bose knife I traded for the R9 above - the guy got a good deal - knife was worth more than the R9 but he is a friend - antique Remmington bone from the 1930s.
The Seecamp is in a Hedley front pocket with a Bose folder with antique Remmington bone from the 1930s - blade steel 440V.

Chris is new, to some of us. I still carry my Emerson CQC-7 daily and my Emerson La Griffe around the neck. My Gerber Mk 1 and others are retired waiting for a time to put then in a display shelf.
