Idle thought... I wonder if this would be a worthwhile mod on my Native.

Just got my Enduras in the mail. Wow. All I can say is this is another quantum step from Spyderco. ROCK SOLID, no shimmy, shake or flex, in an "economy" model.
hey george love the site how do i join ?
Just saw this thread. I talked to Sal (owner of Spyderco) over a year ago and he told me about the agreement with Emerson to make the "wave" feature in the Endura.
I was lucky enough to get one of the first run, and the last word I had was that it was a limited run and that they would not be a production model. I love mine but I typically carry my Emerson CQC-7 that I've had for many a many year. The Endura will stay in my gun safe and become a cherished collectors item.
As for the closing of the blade. Whats with the fingers under the blade? I must have missed something as my fingers never go under a blade when I close it and Spyderco and Emersons have a reputation for not closing accidentially.

I have not handled a Native (handle/blade profile doesn't suit me), but I would see no reason not to. Because of the profile, you might be shaving more off the spine of the blade than you would with a "higher" thumbhole model. Just a thought.......Originally Posted by George Hill
