I thought we were talking about a nice handgun at $400, btu a knife? a nice looking knife, mind you. If I bought that I'd better be able to sleep on it, 'cause I won't be sleeping in bed with my Wife for a loong time.

I have heard of 6AL4V Titanium...a nice high grade of Titanium.

But, what is Titanium Carbon Fiber?
There is normally no metal at all in Carbon Fiber.
Unless they are using Epoxy Carbon Fiber to bond the Carbide edge to a 6AL4V Titanium core.
    That's possible.

    Nice knife though.

For 400 dollars, I'm shopping Randall. I have a Strider knife that was sent to me gratis when I was in Iraq. It was nice, but definitely not worth the price tag.

It's fun to look at stuff like this, even though it is grossly overpriced. I think many of these handmade pieces by well known designers are priced more according to their value as art than they are to the content of their materials. I don't think I would ever spend that kind of money on something (unless $400 was pocket change to me, as it is to a very few in this world) that truly offered me no less utility than something else of comparable quality at a much lower cost.
