I've been looking at RAT Cutlery for a while now. I've pretty much decided on getting an RC-3MIL and an RC-5. I couldn't decide on just one.
I will also need one of the Izula folders when they are in production. Looking like the end of 2010 for the new folding knife.

+1 on the RC-3MIL. I like the rougher texture of the canvas micarta handle scales vs. the linen micarta scales for a superior grip and less slip.

Got my numbers confused, I looked at so many (not a knife guy). What I ordered was a RC-3P-MB.

RAT 3 or maybe a Bark River Bravo 1
I have a RAT 3, very sturdy. The handle feels thin in the hand but it is slimmer and comes with kydex sheath. I also have a Bark River Bravo 1 (4 inch blade). I definitely like the Bravo 1 better. More heft, feels full in the hand. Came with a kydex sheath. I didn't like how it fit so I bought a leather sheath with a firestarter rod (aftermarket purchase). Both make great BOB knives. Both knives are excellent. Buy both. Can't have too many. What is a H.E.S.T.? Maybe that will be my next purchase.

Reason: typo plus my comment needed further clarification.
