    Pretty Folding Pocket Knife

Okay, everyone, I'm on a mission. I want a pretty pocket knife.

    Rules:

    1) No Barbie-doll pink. I think Barbie doll pink (Pepto Bismol pink) is ugly, not pretty.

    2) Rainbow, damascus, etc are pretty.

    3) Can't be too big. Anything over 3 1/2" is too big.

    4) Can't be too small. Anything under 2 1/2" is too small.

So -- what's the prettiest pocketknife on the market, in your opinion?

Post pics if you've got 'em!

Just bought this, mostly for work (Work at a school district) and does not make a big distraction

    Description
    BO01MB788DAM: Magnum Lady
    Magnum: A Division of Boker

Authentic Damascus Blades -- a notable tradition.

With this exclusive high class knife series, Boker brings you an extraordinary collection of Damascus and exotic woods. This series features knives with genuine forged Damascus blades with 37 layers. No etching or rake patterns -- this is the real deal! Charm, character and quality at a very reasonable price.

Classic double bolster knife with dress plates made of polished stainless steel. Carefully selected burl wood is used for the handle, which gives the knife its high class look. Back lock mechanism. Does not have pocket clip. Overall length: 5 1/2". Blade length: 2 3/8". Weight: 2.4 oz. Made in China.

    I REALLY like it.

The only question really is under what price range are you looking for?

Well this is very pink (flame me if you must!), and a bit big, but it comes with a good message: Benchmade Pink

Forgive me for suggesting one so inexpensive, but $5.75 will get you this one:

Police 3 - Black G-10 Scales - Plain or Serrated Edge
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder though, and I've always been a "function first" kinda guy. The full flat grind, the long, shallow curve of the edge, the G10 that's just the perfect texture, the contrast between the flat black scales, and the satin finished steel, the CLACK! sound it makes when I open it. Beautiful.

I think you're probably looking for something more like this.
Kershaw K.O. Leek, Rainbow Coated Titanium Handle/Blade, Plain
I've seen a couple in person, and the colors are much darker, and more subtle, than they look in photos. Very pretty.

I don't have any of these, but I keep going back to look at them.

The Spyderco Kopa line has always caught my eye:
    Spyderco Kopa- from knifeworks.com

and so do these Brian Yellowhorse
    Brian Yellowhorse Knives from Knifeworks

I also like the Spyderco Mycro Dyad because it has a plain & serrated blade. These are a little shorter than you asked about -- but they are still nice!
Spyderco Micro Dyad, Jigged Bone Handle, Plain & Serrated Blades

Spyderco MicroDyad, Black Pearl Handle, Plain & Serrated Blades

I wish I could have a good excuse to buy more!

I have this one, I keep in my pocket or wallet - it is very small but utilitarian

This is what I keep for general use. I bought the knife from Ultimate Equipment and the custom alumagrips from gungrips.net

I also keep this one in my "fleamarket bag" - it's handy for using when dining "OUT" and you don't have the proper utensils!! Case hobo with spoon & fork

    - I was also going to suggest this. My brother actually has one and the coating is gorgeous. The Leek has a great assisted opening also.

The Rainbow Kershaw Leek is a nice one as is the combo blade Leek. I have the combo blade and like the look of the two colored blade with the copper wire between the two. Either is assisted opening and very sleek.

Hmmm. Looks like the rainbow Kershaw Leek will require a closer look -- I can tell the photos probably don't do it justice, but can't tell what it looks like in real life. If it's as pretty as you guys are saying, that's probably the one I'm looking for!

    Thanks,
