Just curious who has an AR15 chambered in 6.8? How does it compare to the 5.56 versions in all aspects, accuracy, recoil, reliability, etc. What are the pros/cons? Are there any less expensive yet reliable options out there for a 6.8 AR? Thanks for the help!

I have a 6.8 T/C, check out the 6.5 Grendel before making a decision.

6.8 ballisticly is as crappy as AK ammo.
accuracy and wind drift is better with the 77gr smk 223
6.5 is a far superior round 400 to 800+ yards, but it dont have the big $ backing of Barret and Rem.

The Barret 6.8 piston gun made it through a 1500 round class of cold, mud and high volume drills while being treated like crap by the Barret crew who took the class last month.
It's a great weapon, and it ran great from what I was able to see when I wasn't shivering, shooting or reloading.
Buy one. You will like it.
