    Actually you can get a semi-auto right up to the accuracy of a bolt action, it will just cost you 2-3 times what the bolt action would cost, be heavier and will need to be cleaned more often. And the cleaning will be more of a hassle.

    Reloading will benefit the semi-autos just as it will the bolt actions.

    Agreed, after hearing of Chuck Mawhinney's work with a semi auto, I think it's more the operator.
