    sold one AR thinking of another

    I sold my colt match target ar15 m4. i WAS thinking of buying a M1A, but i think i want a new AR. Who makes a good gas piston AR these days that doesn't cost $3K I was looking at the Ruger sr556?

    Check out www.spikestactical.com for you piston AR needs. they are a great company and very responsive to the customer. You can even call and ask to speak to Tom the CEO if you want. Nice folks and top-rate product.

    I have read that a lot of the Piston uppers are getting what is called carrier tilt,It's forcing the front of the carrier up and causing the back to gouge the buffer tube and in some cases IIRC has sheared the gas key screws
